שמוזכר רבות בתנ''ך, בעיקר בשיר השירים. מתחת למדרגות שתי מנהרות חסומות ששימשו למעבר חירום של הכהנים מבית המקדש ולאזורי ה&quot;מסיבות&quot; (ציטוט תנכ''י) של הכנהים. בסמוך שרידי ארמון מוסלמי מפואר. על החומה&nbsp;
